Amy Fletcher

Amy Fletcher, BSN, RN, IBCLC, brings 19 years of experience in NICU and pediatric ER nursing to her work as a Lactation Consultant and is currently advancing her education in both Family Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. She has a special passion for supporting families with NICU and premature babies, return-to-work transitions, pumping and flange fitting, milk supply concerns, and oral function challenges such as tongue ties. Amy’s style of care centers on listening first, creating individualized care plans, and blending evidence-based research with a common-sense approach that respects each family’s unique needs and goals. She believes that while babies need to eat, how that happens should always reflect what works best for the baby and the family together. As a mom of four with her own diverse feeding journeys—including exclusive pumping and donation after carrying twins as a surrogate, two tongue-tied babies (ouch!), and return to work supply challenges—Amy brings both professional expertise and deep empathy to her work. Her personal and professional experiences fuel her commitment to treating every family individually, ensuring they feel supported and empowered throughout their feeding journey.
