Heather Markovitch, IBCLC, brings both clinical expertise and real-world perspective to her role at Atlanta Lactation. She is well-versed in feeding support and helps families establish rhythms and routines that work in the flow of everyday life. Clinically, she has supported families with pumping, return-to-work planning, multiples, bottle refusal, starting solids, and weaning, always tailoring guidance to each family’s unique needs. Heather believes in meeting parents where they are and offering practical, judgment-free strategies that make feeding a positive and sustainable part of family life. As a mother of three sons and an experienced breastfeeder, she understands firsthand the joys and challenges of feeding. What she values most in her work is walking alongside families during one of the most meaningful—and sometimes challenging—seasons of their lives.
