Jean Howington

Jean Howington, IBCLC, PMH-C is an experienced lactation consultant who has worked with families across a range of clinical and community environments. She blends responsive feeding support with evidence-based education to help parents feel informed, confident, and capable. As a Perinatal Mental Health–Certified provider, Jean integrates mental-health awareness into her care, recognizing the full spectrum of challenges that can shape the early feeding experience. She has extensive experience supporting NICU families and parents navigating complex clinical situations, offering skilled guidance during medically delicate transitions. Jean is also a mother of two adult sons and enjoys gardening, quilting, and reading. She believes that compassionate support and clear, accessible guidance can make a meaningful difference in the early days of feeding and beyond.
