Karen Daus

Karen Daus, RN, has been part of Atlanta Lactation since October 2020, serving as the team’s Virtual Assistant. She supports the practice through patient intake, chart preparation, scheduling, and other behind-the-scenes tasks that help providers stay focused on family care. Karen is HIPAA-certified and brings her nursing background to her work, ensuring both accuracy and compassion in her role. She finds joy in making processes more efficient and seamless for both the team and the families they serve. Outside of work, Karen loves spending weekends with her husband and two young sons. She is also a devoted animal lover with five cats and two energetic Belgian Malinois. Having experienced both extended breastfeeding and formula feeding with her own children, Karen values the importance of supporting each parent’s unique journey—knowing that what matters most is a well-fed baby and a supported, healthy parent.
