Shannon Vann

Shannon is an IBCLC with Atlanta Lactation, supporting families across northwest Georgia and overseeing product purchasing for our clinics. She brings a strong background in WIC and is currently pursuing a degree in Maternal Infant Health, enriching her practice with evidence-based care and a deep understanding of family-centered needs. Shannon enjoys working with first-time parents and has extensive experience supporting pumping, back-to-work transitions, twins, oral motor concerns, and creating individualized feeding plans. She also incorporates therapeutic ultrasound into her clinical work to provide effective, targeted support for conditions such as clogged ducts and breast inflammation. Her approach blends education, confidence-building, and practical problem-solving, helping families feel both capable and cared for. At home, Shannon is a mom of four, excited to welcome her oldest’s new baby this spring—an experience that further fuels her passion for nurturing families through all stages of feeding.
